Jacksonville International Airport (JAX)
Driving Directions / Travel by Car

(Jacksonville, Florida - FL, USA)

Within easy driving distance of downtown Jacksonville and nearby beaches, Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) stands next to the main New York to Miami I-95. This busy interstate runs right past the airport and the I-295 Jacksonville bypass running just to the south.

Roads leading to the terminal of Jacksonville Airport include Duval Road, which in turn becomes the Airport Road and the Service Road, and also the International Airport Boulevard. To the west of the grounds, the Lem Turner Road edges the south-western perimeter.

Directions to Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) from the north:

  • Take I-95 south from all points north
  • Take Exit 363 onto Airport Road (west) and continue until you reach the airport

Directions to Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) from the south:

  • From Jacksonville and all points south, take I-95 north
  • Take Exit 363B onto Airport Road and head direct to the airport

Directions to Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) from the east:

  • Take Highway 10 from the Jacksonville Beach area
  • Turn right onto US-9A and continue until you meet I-95 north
  • Exit I-95 at Exit 363B onto Airport Road for the terminal and parking

Directions to Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) from the west:

  • Take I-10 east from points west of Jacksonville
  • Take I-295 north at Exit 356
  • Continue to the end of I-295 and then join I-95 north
  • Take Exit 363B onto Airport Road for the grounds

Interstate 95, I-295 and US-9A are busy commuter highways and are the main arteries for Jacksonville. As a result, they can become fairly congested during morning and afternoon rush hours. Therefore we recommend that you allow yourself extra time for getting to the airport during busy times of the day.
