Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) is the gateway to northeast Florida and southwest Georgia and the facility sees hundreds of daily flights and more than five millions yearly passengers.
The recently upgraded terminal building is well laid out and simple to get about, while facilities are excellent.

Shops, Duty-Free and Retail Outlets
You will find shops on both levels at Jacksonville International Airport, although most are situated on the upper level. There are newsagents and gift shops, a DVD rental shop, a PGA tour shop, book shops, Paradies' Rivercity Travelmart and a designer sunglasses store. There is also a 24-hour flower vending machine on site.
Bars, Cafés and Restaurants
Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) comes with a good supply of eateries, with a food court on the upper level as well as many coffee shops, snack bars and restaurants. Eateries include Burger King, Italian Eatery Pizza, Starbucks Coffee, Swensen's Ice Creams and Budweiser Brewhouse.
Currency Exchange, Communications and Banking Facilities
Courtesy telephones are available throughout the terminal building and there is a cash machine on each level. There are also postal facilities including a post box, FedEx drop box and a stamp machine. Unfortunately, currency exchange services are unavailable at the airport.
Business and Conference Facilities
The airport Business Center is located on the upper level and has commendable business facilities including telephones, data ports and postage services, while the nearby Clarion Airport Hotel and Conference Center has further business and conference services. In addition, the Delta Crown Room on Concourse A is an executive lounge for business travelers.
Disabled Facilities
Disabled customers are also well taken care of at Jacksonville International Airport, where wheelchair-friendly lifts, toilets and telephones have been installed. The airport can provide wheelchairs on request and anyone needing special assistance should contact their airline prior to their arrival at the airport.
